A New Way to Tackle Healthcare

Oftentimes, your pain is a symptom of other, underlying problems.

RAPHA approach treats not just the symptom, but it looks at the causes behind these problems, caring for the body as a whole.

Gone are the days of isolated thinking. Our team of certified physical therapists are filling that void by looking at all the problems, at the same time. We’re not just looking at the mechanical parts of it, but we’re looking at the different body systems and analyzing how they’re all interrelated & working together to find you the ultimate pain relief.

RAPHA physical therapy approach makes body systems work as a whole unit to heal, restore and rehabilitate with the least amount of pain.

I went with pain in my shoulder and arm for more than a month… after one visit, it was gone forever. It’s really magical.

With detail-oriented evaluations, our physical therapists focus on identifying not only your pain but identifying the different systems and problems that are interrelated to it. In the RAPHA approach, we work to find you a real solution.

RAPHA focuses on the whole body. Our listening technique and holistic approach locate the most significant and acute components, and adjust systems to accommodate changes. Once we bring all the systems together, you will enter the integration stage for a speedy recovery.

Three Stages of RAPHA

Stage 1 – Identification Stage

  • During your visit, we do a special screening called “listening technique”. This is where the physical therapist will provide gentle pressure on the crown of your head while you are standing or lying down. Based on your tissue tensions and response, the PT will be able to locate areas of the body that require special attention.
  • We expect a change in your pain right away. This will help us know different components and areas that would be contributing to your experience of pain.
  • We will work with you to set up goals and plans for your care during this stage.

Stage 2 – Integration Stage

  • At this stage, we will help you to reduce the number of structures that might be sending pain stimuli to your brain. We do this by locating structures throughout your body.
  • This will warrant that the therapist will be treating areas that you did not mention or thought to be contributing to your pain. This, in turn, will help your brain process the information in the right context.
  • As soon as your brain learns the correct way to process the information, we will introduce correct movements and thinking, to regulate your body and mind. You will now see a rapid improvement in your range of motion, strength, and mobility.
  • This is the stage where we will teach you how to improve your function without pain and tackle pain when it shows up.

Stage 3 – Health Advancement Stage
